The Creative Connector was established by Lisa Walton Rixon in April 2018 after a decade of proactively facilitating career introductions for colleagues and friends across continents. 

With over 20 years of steering account leadership in four diverse markets, from global networks to nurturing hyper-local boutique clients, Lisa is celebrated as a strategic partner. Leading cross-functional teams of 20+, Lisa fosters a culture of creative excellence and collaborative triumph. Passionate about growth, Lisa has achieved a brilliant win rate in pioneering new business, specialising in masterbrand repositioning and visual design systems. Lisa has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, New Zealand and Canada; always embracing the challenge of starting anew and building career connections all over the globe. 

The Creative Connector was established by Lisa Walton Rixon in December 2016 after over a decade of proactively facilitating career introductions for colleagues, acquaintances and friends across continents. 

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2004, Lisa embarked on an advertising career in Toronto, Canada, starting as an Account Coordinator at Cossette. In 2006, she was headhunted by BBDO Toronto where she was promoted to Account Executive and then again to Account Supervisor. In 2009, Lisa ventured East for an adventerous move to Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she lived and worked for a year as a Management Advisor for the documentary film company, Poriprekkit.

In 2010, Lisa made yet another move, this time to London, England, joining Ogilvy & Mather as a Global Account Director. After two years there, she made her latest voyage down to Auckland, New Zealand, working first as a Senior Account Director at Colenso BBDO, and then on to J. Walter Thompson where she was promoted to Group Account Director. As of 2019, Lisa is now based in Toronto.

Lisa has lived and worked in Canada, the UK, Bangladesh and New Zealand over the last 15 years; always embracing the challenge of starting a new and building career connections all over the globe.
